🔧 Arrowhead PK1290 Oval Handle Replacement Kit Review

Luckily I was able to find this on Amazon as it wasn't available at my local Lowes or Home Depot. I lost my original after deleting it due to construction going on next door. The contractor seems to have decided it's ok to use my water to wash his tools after working all day at the house next door. It was easy to install and worked great.

This was the perfect replacement for my old faucet handle. My old one had stripped and was no longer sticking to the bar teeth. I bought a round red one from a local hardware store but the part that attaches to the stem was 1.5mm too big and couldn't catch on the stem teeth. Neither Home Depot nor Lowe's stock it so I was glad to find it on Amazon! Glad I didn't have to change the whole bushing!

I ordered this stem to replace my Arrowhead stem with an Arrowhead outdoor antifreeze spike. The handle fits perfectly, but the screw is too long and thick. Even if you screw it all the way in, the handle still dangles. I called the seller and he told me others had reported the same problem and suggested I send it back and get a replacement which may have come with the correct screw. But he also told me that others have reported using multiple washers to tighten the grip. I may try this…

We are in an old house.
