Works as described. The sound quality is as good as your speakers will allow. No noise or scratches when playing. The battery could have lasted longer and I wish you could charge it while using it, but the adapter interferes with the tape slot so it spits out the tape. The instructions were simple and setup was easy. This is good for devices that don't have aux inputs like the iPhone 8 etc. Otherwise I could just use the older version which had an aux out cable and didn't need charging.

This is a good product for the function it performs. It was easy to assemble and use. I've only used it in a cassette deck, so I can only comment on my limited experience. I've found that I can't turn the volume up too high on the paired device, as there is unnecessary noise, distortion, and poor clarity.
