I'm not an artist but I need to make an art project for humanity so I bought this wood panel. And I'm so glad I did because it looks very high quality and feels soft and smooth. The only negative is that the wood and eraser aren't exactly the right combination (again, I erase a lot because my skills aren't great). But acrylic paint and light pencil marks would have looked good on this panel. According to my art history class, an artist long ago B.C. Chr. Wood for art projects, and so do I. Wish

Six of the eight panels ordered had defects - bonding issues, dents and just plain poor handling. Products must be treated with care to maintain usability. I was glad they were intended as sketches for larger works and were never intended for clients. Lesson learned.
