Very good equalizer, the best in car audio

Very good equalizer. Solidly built. Good for helping me tame the high frequencies in my "bright" living room. Happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

Very decent equalizer at a reasonable price

Exactly what you'd expect: a decent equalizer at a reasonable price. I actually use this for apartment living and run my TV through before it hits the compressor. It's not about surround sound or anything like that. Just give me a good L/R and I'm ready to go.

Pros
  • Great for me

Very good, some issues

Very good component, great performance, good design, but the I/O labels are very poor so I had to experiment with my receiver's I/O ports. The front of the case is unusually wide (19 inches) as it's a professional rackmount unit so it didn't fit in my audio case so it's on top now.

  • Nice packaging

Inexpensive Equalizer

Used on home stereo systems, primarily CDs, and helps set the sound quality where my bass/treble boost knobs can't cut it. Easy installation, useful bypass and range functions. I chose this unit for RCA I/O and overall it looks nice and solid. I put small rubber feet on the bottom as I don't rack mount it so it can stand on my CD player without scratching or slipping. Each channel has an input level control for further control. I have a used one for sale that is in new condition, great under…

Art Eq Device Perfection

I have three of these devices. Two in my professional systems and one in my home stereo. The devices sound very good, unbelievable for the price. They are characterized by a very low noise level and high reliability. While most consumer products are expensive and come in thin cases, these equalizers come in thick rackmount cases. I have never had a problem with an ART product in all the years that I have owned it. For those who don't like batten ears, I recommend purchasing a Raxess or Mid…

  • Easy to read control panel

Amazing equalizer at such a low price!

Hooked up my new ART 341 today between a Grace Internet Tuner (model 200) and a Qinpu A-6000 hybrid tube amp with a small set of cheap BIC DV62si speakers. First off, the reviewer who said the RCA jacks on this EQ are too small is full of it. They are the right size and my premium connectors fit very well. I have had many home stereo equipment in my life, up to Onkyo M-504, M-508, Bose 201, 301, 501 and 901, various Polks, JBL 4312 studio monitors, Japanese non-export Onkyo Monitor 1000 series…

Great addition and good quality.

I replaced a 40 year old HiFi EQ with an EQ341. It arrived with a bent post ear, but that was easily fixed with a vise and two small pieces of plywood to protect the fairing. Annoyingly, the styrofoam pieces that support the device in the box were in perfect condition, meaning the damage happened at the factory. But back to the functions. This unit is light years ahead of my old EQ. The old one had 10 tapes per channel; ART has 15. It was immediately much easier for me to create a usable…

Does what it says on the tin

So far I'm quite happy with the performance of this equalizer. Once I got past the connection weirdness (see below) it works like I would expect an equalizer to. I've only used unbalanced inputs and outputs and only rate performance based on subjective data in a great audio/video system. . The noise level is low enough not to add anything flashy to the sound. Ditto for the distortion, the sound remains very clear to my ears. The EQ controls are typical of inexpensive EQs: the control sliders…

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Not bad, but...

Very good equalizer at a great price!

I am very glad I made this purchase as the ART EQ341 seems very good in its original overall quality and excellent in sound quality, especially considering the price! It just plugs into my receiver - between the preamp and amp sections - without "most" of the obvious problems mentioned here a few years ago. It's nice to think that this company is doing something to solve consumer problems! Visually this block looks a lot nicer than it appears, despite the fact that the rotatable level…
