Disappointed with the quality of this product for the price I paid. The material used is best described as something like fibreboard, almost all pressed cardboard. I had to reinforce the mounting plate to the curved part of the bed with long screws because my 10kg cat started tearing the fiberboard with just a few jumps.

This shelf is perfect for our needs! Our boy loves to sit high but we didn't have room for a cat tower in the guest room. Binks is a solid kid at 14 and I'm not worried about his safety. The device itself seems a little wobbly when we play around with it, but for a gentle and nimble cat, it works perfectly. We're excited to finally dive into wall mounted cat furniture!

Honestly, this is the first thing I installed myself. Is always. It is very easy to install and very durable. I bought it because my cats didn't get along. I've read that perches can calm them down. When both cats are in my room, one of them is always on the roost. My cats still don't get along (hopefully soon!) but Perch gives them a place to go when they need a spot. Will definitely buy again.

Isn't that the most important thing with cats? They both like to sit, sleep, watch birds from that window. Other shelves by the window were too big for two, stuck out too far, or didn't please. The curtains didn't just wrap around them and it looked silly. They stick out a bit, but still allow the curtains to "flow around" better. We have this shelf as a windowsill in the kitchen. We have several other window sills but this shelf is by far the most stylish and fits perfectly with our home's decor. I've had this perch for a little over a year and my cats just loved it and one was always dozing on it but as you can see it's BROKEN (first and second photos ) . We adjusted it quite high (2nd photo) and when it fell apart my cat fell for a very long time. I had higher hopes for this product. Looks very nice but not functional. The 3 velcro straps holding the rug in place are very flimsy. The first thing my cat did was scratch, but the rug immediately came off and got stuck in mid-air. I could only imagine my cats falling off the wall. If they lose their footing and cling to the rug for support to stay on the shelf, both the cat and the rug will fall!
