I got what I bought. They are elastic, 20 per set. They may arrive in a plastic envelope from India.

That's fine, but they're so small it takes two to fill the hole they go through. However, they last a long time once put in place.

I purchased a set of 4 bulbs, 2 of which have the bulb tip aligned with the turtle's head as shown in the photo, the other 2nd fits the rear end of the turtle. making two usable and two unusable. This means they are poorly made and wrongly advertised.

Can be used with oil and ghee lamps. It burns well. Good buy at a very reasonable price. Edit: I reordered in bulk and this time they sent a much lower quality cotton wick. It was pretty disappointingly bad. Wrong size and doesn't burn well. Attached is a photo comparing the two purchases. The one on the right is my first purchase and the one on the left is my last bad buy.

Beautiful natural cotton wicks. There's nothing fancy about them, they're fluffy and soft, no extra threads like candle wicks. Shipping from India to USA didn't take as long as I thought. The wicks are packed flat in sealed cellophane plastic. It doesn't reseal, so I just put the wicks in a little zippered bag and keep them in a drawer under the altar. Very happy with these wicks and will buy more from this seller when they run out.

. This is very close to the traditional method of taking cotton balls, twisting them into threads and using them as a wick. Keep in mind that this is pretty hard to tell apart, but there's a direction that works better. So when the wick isn't burning well, it's upside down. Pull it out, shift up/down, and you'll notice an improvement right away. Heavier wicks will show a V-pattern in the weave and this is how you should insert it (V-shaped open end up).
