Save money in the long run. Nice Texture

I've never thought about using a spreadable medium but I've noticed that although they all say they're pre-primed my canvases seem a bit super absorbent and drink my color I have a mix of more expensive tube paints and loose materials but just recently bought a large can of Titanium White and when I painted the 8" x 10" canvas it took a long time as it was quite thick. I didn't want to use water for the next layer so I took that one. Next time I mixed about 50% of this medium with paint and…

Good thinner for acrylic paints

This is a review of Artecho Acrylic Flow Medium This medium comes in a large 32 ounce plastic bottle (just under 1 liter). Its purpose is to allow you to thin acrylic paints, and it does an excellent job in that regard. You can start with thick acrylic paints and dilute them almost to the consistency of water and then use them as "flowing" paints. This medium is a little thinner than other mediums I've used, which is good for me. It mixes easily with my acrylic paints, allows my paints to flow…

Good for increasing drying time and making paint more usable

Sometimes acrylic paints dry so quickly that they are difficult to work with. This liquid will help. It also helps make the colors a bit more translucent for finer layers. Give the color some transparency. IS IT CLEAR AND DRY? When it is added to the color, the color does not change at all. PROPERTIES I like working with this liquid. I found it comparable to other brands I have used including Golden. This is good for those who don't want to spend a lot but want to learn how to work with liquid.

much thinner than Flood Floetrol

It works and your color flows but it's too runny for me making the color flow thinner and faster than I would like. I almost always use Flood Floetrol. Floetrol has the consistency of, say, coconut milk, which is the consistency of diluted cow's milk. Floetrol is thicker. It's hard to explain, but when I mix paint/Floetrol and then pour, the hill of paint is say 1/8 inch high and it moves slowly as I tilt and guide the canvas. When I mix it with paint, stick it in, say 1/16 inch high, and it…

Great for the hobby shop Acrylic

Acrylic Paint I draw miniatures from board games and roleplaying games (now I draw characters from Nemesis, it's basically an alien in a box movie with no copyright infringement. Awesome, horror, survival game) . Miniature paint flows easily over plastic or resin miniatures, and many artists simply use water to thin the paint for a smoother application and/or thinner to allow for layering. Hobby paints are much, much cheaper, but don't dilute well with water for easier painting. Use a flow aid!
