Mini Productivity Powerhouse

I started this today. I got an iPad for work today and bought this keyboard to work with. I really love it! It turns my iPad into a mini laptop perfect for work and play. The IT guy who sent me my iPad was also impressed with the keyboard. He has an iPad Pro and says that keyboard is much more comfortable, which we both prefer. And he admitted that this little mini device is much easier to carry to meetings and other gatherings. I downloaded the Microsoft Office suite to my iPad and this…

Functionality and value for computers and accessories

A few years ago I "switched" from carrying my MacBook Pro to a 12-inch iPad Pro when traveling. I bought the iPad Mini primarily for use with ForeFlight, but bought the Arteck keyboard because I prefer to use the "standard" keyboard than the onscreen keyboard when typing. I've made my first trip since buying the keyboard for the Mini and she discovers value , for example during a conference call when viewing documents. On the iPad Pro, I was able to take notes on the Mini. The keyboard is easy…

Mostly not bad; excellent customer service

Addendum: A few months after this review was posted, the seller contacted me without asking for a free replacement. I find that remarkable and praise the company. I'm adding a star to my rating. For the most part, this is a good keyboard. The entire screen is accessible, unlike some other keyboards I've used (like the bottom of the screen). However, the arrangement of the keys is unusual. The question mark and comma are in awkward places outside of the regular keyboard. Sometimes the buttons…

So he died very quickly. UPDATE

I bought this a week ago and it didn't charge properly to begin with. I used the cable that came with it, but the charging light kept going off even though it wasn't fully charged. I also tried another mini USB cable, same thing. So he died very quickly. UPDATE: The seller has responded to my request to return the item due to a loading issue. They immediately sent me a replacement keyboard and it works very well. Thank you for your prompt customer service!

Needs better connection / Really helps kid with reading and writing

We bought this keyboard as a 'computer' for our 5 year old who has been pretending to have a job lately. It's a step up from the imaginary boxes and found computer objects glued together that he collected. It works better than we thought. He often played games and used one of our old iPads to study, but the addition of a keyboard increased his interest in reading words, basic reading and writing, and working with numbers. We even text each other in words and simple sentences while I'm at work…

Beautiful but not perfect!

I had high hopes for this iPad Mini keyboard, but was disappointed to find that it didn't conform to the QERTY system keyboard standard. Letters are slanted to the right, and commonly used additional keys, such as Keys such as the apostrophe are mapped to other keys and do not require the use of the capitalization key. Also, it's very slippery and not very comfortable to sit on your lap! Slides are everywhere. And the keys themselves aren't rubberized like before and fingers tend to slide over…

Software and hardware bug

Used it for a few weeks until the keyboard stopped working and jumped around in various places in the text when typing. I contacted the manufacturer 3 times with an initial response but took no further action when their first suggestion didn't solve the problem. About 4 months after purchase, the part holding the iPad broke rendering the device unusable. Edit: Artek contacted me and said they would replace or refund the item and asked me to reply and let them know what I prefer. I answered…

Great quality for the price

Came well packaged and doesn't look as cheap as others I've seen. All buttons worked flawlessly and were very responsive to use. Connecting the keyboard to my iPad was easy and straightforward (check out the video on how to connect). When the device is plugged in, the power button on the keyboard doesn't light up like I thought it would, but that's no big deal. Just don't forget to turn it off (because it's off, you might forget it like I did). It holds my iPad well and fits snugly without…
