I bought these to use when washing pillows or duvets in the dryer. They worked great and fluffed the feathers perfectly! No clumps of wet feathers! An added bonus of these balls is that they are perfect for my small dog. He sits by the laundry room door and whines until I hit him. If I want to use them, I have to collect them in the house. These dryer balls effectively control static electricity. They are small and not very good at preventing clothes from curling in the dryer, which slows down the drying process.
