Motorola HKLN6423 Artisan Power P 6423 Review

Microphone and speakers work great! The only problem I really have is that the wire is sometimes difficult to route around your body as the wire runs in a straight line with the button. Instead of splitting on the bottom of the button like most.

I think these are an improvement over the original Motorola ONLY because they are louder. I have to unscrew the Motorola headphones completely, but not these. In terms of durability, they last me about 8 or 9 months, same as Motorola. I wish someone had made an earbud that wasn't so thin.

Sound quality is not very good, had to turn the walkie talkie more than halfway to hear, the speaker itself was comfortable but the wires to the plug fell out after a couple of weeks due to a kink.

I had problems with my previous headset because it got in my ear. I must have small holes for my ears because it hurt my ear, so I decided to try a headset that just fits my ear. It's very light and comfortable and I love it. I've had it for 2 months now and no problems so far. Will definitely buy again once this one comes out.

I will say that the build quality of the product is very good. But unfortunately, being under 5'11, I feel the wire is very long and uncomfortable. The microphone part is huge and feels clingy and goofy. The cable that goes to the headphones always smacks me in the face when I try to use the PTT function. For more industrial work I might see the benefits, but for retail work I think more non-invasive headphones are better.
