I have used drill bits and other small diameter drill bits. tubes for winding wire until I found this mandrel. This works great for me and allows for more precise packaging. I also like that the end of the "handle" is covered with non-slip material for a better grip. They were worth their money.

This would be great for making multiple jump rings or bows. It was difficult for me to attach the wire to make a spiral, especially a small mandrel. If you want to make long spirals, get single long spikes. It won't help. I'm keeping it because I'm sure I'll need it for other things and it will come in handy. It was good value for money, just didn't serve my purpose.

I use them to make coils for the vaporizer, works pretty well, the rubberized grips are good, I just wish they had the jump size stamped on them like real coil holders. But for what they are they work pretty well, the larger of the two is probably overkill for most vapers unless they are using a 26650 size dripper with some giant macro coils.
