I'm pretty sure I ordered the black notepad and got this ugly pink one. I won't be returning it, I'll just cover it with contact paper BUT it's not necessarily what I ordered. It seems to hold up watercolor well, which is what I intend it for. The paper dries fairly quickly, so you need to work with watercolors quickly.

I've been looking for something like this for several years. I like to draw, paint with watercolors and make collages in my journal. With this one, I can do anything without bleeding through the other side! Finally! I tried Moleskins art magazines but the paper was too thin for my pencils and watercolors. It's well built and I'm so glad I chose it. Such good value for money.

UPDATE: 23 days into the new year with this sketchbook. At the moment this sketchbook is holding up complete, even with my mix media work that I've done. The watercolor in this book may hold, but be sure to let it dry if you're worried about it getting printed. The thickness of the paper is also suitable for drawing ^^ very happy with this purchase! I bought it to start the new year with "One sketch a day for 365 days" because I want to challenge myself. So far only satisfied with the purchase…
