Wire harness and antenna adapter for installing an aftermarket radio. For easier install with no running ignition wire separate and retain chime, standard Bose/amp, etc see the following link- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DSD123C. ---VERY IMPORTANT---- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE----: Wire harness only works with standard non-premium amp factory systems- Not compatible with amp systems like Bose, Infinity, etc.- Red ignition wire of the new radio has to be run separately from the vehicle radio harness (factory radio plug has no ignition power wire). As a result, this isn't considered an easy installation. Will not retain some features like warning chimes, steering audio controls, Onstar, etc- extra adapters required. Compatible with: Buick: 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Enclave, 2006-2011 Lucerne; Chevrolet: 2007-2011 Avalanche, 2007-2009 Equinox, 2008-2012 Express, 2006-2013 Impala, 2006-2007 Monte Carlo, 2008-2011 Silverado, 2007-2011 Suburban, 2007-2011 Tahoe, 2009-2012 Traverse; GMC: 2007-2012 Acadia, 2008-2012 Savana, 2008-2011 Sierra, 2007-2011 Yukon, 2007-2009 Pontiac Torrent; Saturn: 2007-2009 Outlook, 2008-2009 Vue; 2007-2009 Suzuki XL-7. When replacing your factory radio with an aftermarket car stereo, a wire harness is a must for a quick installation. It eliminates cutting your OEM radio plug and helping to maintain your cars value. After connecting it, your install is simple as the wires will usually color-match and easily connect to the aftermarket stereo wire plug. Without a wiring harness, you will have to cut the factory wire harness and then test each wire to connect to your radio.

Poor connection, good for car AV installation

This is for 2010 Chevy Silverado. The wiring is COMPLETELY wrong for this truck model. Don't take that for the Silverado (to be honest, I wouldn't do business with these clowns for anything).

    Powered by equinox 2007

Edited by equinox 2007 with factory pioneer subwoofer amplifier. If you just want to keep your factory speakers and don't want to worry about star etc. this works perfectly and allows you to keep your factory speakers with amp and subwoofer.

Fits but some wiring was misplaced

Fits but does not match factory wiring harness. These were wires in slots that were empty in the factory wiring harness. Used this harness on a GMC Chevy Express '09 with a double din touch screen radio. I made it

Waste of time on a car AV install

You're doing what I've been trying to do, buy a cheaper wiring harness and just sort out some things that don't work very well. Mistake. Save your money and go straight to a modern $100 replacement. You'll still have to do whatever wiring you thought was necessary, but at least once you're done it will work. Much luck.

    Unwired for 2010 GMC Acadia

Connectors match my Acadia connectors but the stereo had no power. The red wire (12V ACC) on this connector went to an empty connector on the Acadia side. I was able to remove the connector pin and put it in another connector that actually went to the 12V connector. I got it working, but not without frustration.

    Pros
    • Useful for more than intended purpose

    • Add anything

Good kit with everything you need to install a stereo

Just what I need to install a Pionner stereo on my new 2007 Sierra body. Stereo and reassemble the dashboard, make sure the radio works. If not, then the connection to your antenna has fallen out of the back of the stereo.

    Pros
    • Good assembly

Fits factory wiring harness but wires don't match

So fits factory wiring harness But the wires were in the wrong place. I have an Impala 06 with no Boss speakers or amp upgrade. I had to take the pins of the wires and move them around to make this connector work. The pins were also solid. they didn't want to make it easy for themselves. Either way, it's better than the $100-200 pendant I've gotten at local stores.

Makes wiring easier in new radio

Allows radio wiring harness to be soldered without cutting off factory connector. I would like a guide on where the red wire is connected, this took a lot of research and I'm not happy with what I'm trying to do.

Waste of time with radio wiring harnesses

You do what I tried, buy cheaper dishes and just take care of some not so good stuff. Mistake. Save your money and go straight to a modern $100 replacement. You'll still have to do whatever wiring you thought was necessary, but at least once you're done it will work. Much luck.

    Pros
    • --- VERY IMPORTANT ---- READ BEFORE PURCHASING ----: The wiring harness only works with factory standard non-premium amp systems - Not compatible with amp systems such as Bose, Infinity, etc..- The new radio's red ignition wire must be routed separately from the car radio's wiring harness (the radio's factory connector does not have an ignition wire). As a result, it is not considered an easy install.

Good kit with everything you need to install a stereo system

Just what I needed to fit a Pionner stereo to my new 2007 Sierra body. The only disappointment is the antenna connector, which fits somewhat but still works. Before screwing on the stereo and reassembling the dashboard, make sure the radio works. . If not, then the connection to your antenna has fallen out of the back of the stereo.

    Pros
    • Some features such as warning horns, steering wheel audio controls, Onstar etc are not retained - additional adapters required.

Fits factory wiring harness but wires will not fit

So I went to the factory wiring harness but the wires were in the wrong place. I have an Impala 06 with no Boss speakers or amp upgrade. I had to take the pins of the wires and move them around to make this connector work. The studs were solid too. they didn't want to make it easy for themselves.
