Description of ASC Audio Stereo Radio Wire Harness Plug and Antenna Adapter for Chevrolet and Pontiac Vehicles - Compatible Models Listed

Wire harness and antenna adapter for installing an aftermarket radio. ---VERY IMPORTANT---- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE--- Wire harness only works with standard non-premium amp factory systems- Not compatible with amp systems like Bose, Infinity, etc.- Red ignition wire of the new radio has to be run separately from the vehicle radio harness (factory radio plug has no ignition power wire). Will not retain some features like warning chimes, steering audio controls, Onstar, etc- extra adapters required. Compatible with: Chevrolet: 2005-2006 Cobalt, 2005-2006 Equinox, 2004-2007 Malibu / Maxx (no Classic model); Pontiac: 2005-2008 G6, 2006 Torrent. When replacing your factory radio with an aftermarket car stereo, a wire harness is a must for a quick installation. It eliminates cutting your OEM radio plug and helping to maintain your cars value. After connecting it, your install is simple as the wires will usually color-match and easily connect to the aftermarket stereo wire plug. Without a wiring harness, you will have to cut the factory wire harness and then test each wire to connect to your radio.
