It's not worth it - Automotive and Vehicle Electronics

When installing on a 2005 Chevy Equinox, you must connect the red wire to the 12 amp socket or the radio will not turn on. Just spend the money on the one that comes with the plug so you don't have to run wires.

--- VERY IMPORTANT ---- READ BEFORE PURCHASING --- Wiring harness only works with factory standard non-premium amplifier systems - Not compatible with amplifier systems such as Bose, Infinity etc - The red one The ignition cable of a new radio must be routed separately from the car radio wiring harness (the factory radio connector has no ignition current cable).
