LEDs are said to last longer than conventional light bulbs.

At least one of these bulbs has stopped working in less than 10 months with normal use (I have it in my kitchen - the only bulb in the house that uses this type of bulb). I bought LED bulbs specifically for their durability. however, previous non-LED replacements have lasted over 10 months. I used to buy LEDs from another brand and never had to replace them. All of this leads me to suspect that there is a defect with these lamps - one of them is either placed there intentionally (to sell more)…

Blatant defect of the LED lamps

I am surprised by all the very positive reviews for these lamps as there is a significant design flaw. That's it. Instead of focusing the light downwards in the "120° beam angle" as promised, the light spreads out in all directions, including sideways (i.e. about 180°). Having the bulbs flush mounted in a ceiling light like mine creates a very annoying glare when looking up, even if you stand far away from these lights. Worst lightbulbs ever, good for lightbulbs

TLDR: The price is right, but they don't even last as long as lightbulbs. It's better to spend more and buy something durable. We bought a new bathroom fixture and it took 5 GU10 lightbulbs to make it. I've never heard of a GU10 bulb. So of course I looked at Revain, found these 5 packs that were great priced, bright and had the 'colored' light I wanted, so I excitedly bought them thinking it would be such a hunch.
