A little background: My family wears "barefoot", minimalist shoes that let the feet be the feet. Minimalist shoes should be shaped like a foot (not squeezing your toes), heelless (not high heels), flexible, and unlined. There are some great but expensive brands of sandals out there, so I mostly settle for cheap water shoes, especially for growing kids. My son is very picky about shoes. He insists on wide shoes, even though his foot is small. The wide toe is perfect for her. He loves them and would like to wear them to school instead of uniform shoes. The barefoot design is still very supportive but not restrictive. He has a new favorite style of shoe. The colors of the upper are appealing, but he would have liked the neon colors on the outsole to be less strong.

Bought these shoes for my grandson. They are comfortable and easy to put on. He likes that these are the colors of his favorite team. They're also light and breathable and have a nice rubber tread to keep them in place. they are wide. They look good on him and above all he likes them.

It was a great design but too narrow for my son's foot. He said that after about an hour his legs started tingling. He may have wider feet than most 5 year olds but if yours is I wouldn't recommend it. I liked how flexible the Uphill rubber was, but I'm just glad I took his water shoes, which he had to change into.

These shoes look exactly like the photo. They are light and flexible, which definitely gives a barefoot feel. The soles of the shoes have a nice grippy texture that works well here when it rains a lot and the floors can be slippery. Our son has very wide feet due to a birth defect and quite severe supination on one leg. It's the first shoe he really loves and doesn't hurt over time. They've held out all school year and are still going strong. He has enough room to wiggle his toes. Much cheaper than other sandal brands and just as durable as the Plae. We are on our third pair and plan on buying them until he outgrows baby size.

Well, these are now my kid's favorite shoes. He swears they'll make him run faster. The wide toe feels much more comfortable than his tapered sneakers and the soles have a good grip on them. My 8 year old son is very picky about his shoes and they are holding up well after 2 weeks of abuse. He wears them outside to run and play in the woods and ride his bike. He says they're more comfortable than his other shoes and have great support. He prefers cool colors (especially on the soles). We bought him a bit too big as he is growing fast at the moment. They are good because he can pull them off easily.

My son is 11 years old and since he could walk he has destroyed every single pair of sneakers in less than 90 days. God had mercy on my wallet and I found it last year. They are indestructible. They're also supportive, comfortable, and easy to toggle on and off. I threw them in the washing machine and after 8 months they look like new. These go everywhere! Without ankle support of course, but for climbing, hiking, running, whatever, they're great! I love the flip flop style. Looks very sporty and like his father's shoes. Look nice, well made. I recommend, give and order again.

Those are cute little sneakers. They seem sturdy enough to last a couple of seasons. While not Chacos or Keen they offer good value for money. My son wears size 4 athletic shoes and this size 4 fits him perfectly. I think they would be great for our spring and summer hiking and biking days.

I am a woman and I bought these hiking shoes. You are so comfortable! A wide toe bed looks so beautiful. The soles are non-slip and really help maintain traction even on slippery rocks. I'm so glad I gave them a chance.

These are my son's running shoes for outdoor games, walking around town etc. They have a nice wide fit. He loves that he doesn't have to fiddle with laces, but this shoe looks a little "bigger" than other lace-ups. The shoe has good flexibility and seems to have enough cushioning for the foot. He loves the black with a blue border and the multicolored details underneath.

You can't tell from the picture, but these are shoes with a tie. I originally thought they had static elastic laces. The shoes are also slightly larger than expected.

It's a little bigger than expected but the quality is really good. Feels really solid and well made. I'm happy with that.

They are made in European sizes (US 4 equals 36 European sizes). My son usually needs 3-12w, they suit him with little room to grow. Easy on and off for kids who haven't learned how to tie shoelaces. The outsole is fairly light but well made and feels particularly durable for a kid's shoe in this price range. Good padding (especially around the collar) and support.

These are beautiful shoes and slip-on shoes are always great for kids. The laces (laces) are quite elastic and have a tongue to make it even easier. The colorful soles are not slippery and are true to size. My kid loves them!

It seems that many of the shoes I order online for my kids are very narrow. My kids don't like tight shoes even though they have an average foot width. They have enough room in these shoes and they say they are very comfortable. They have a place for each toe, but they don't look like socks or anything. My son likes to wear them to play and run. They are true to size.
