Problem solved: Main switch

My boat lift only lowered when the switch was in the up or down position. I bought this switch and the problem was solved. Good product.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Incompatible base switch kit

The switch cannot be installed in this housing without drilling and/or milling tabs in the cover. It looks like the chassis is designed for a different switch configuration. It also doesn't include cable strain relief devices.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only

Made in Italy - Italian replacement

I only bought this product to find no instructions or videos on YouTube and the Mfg website was under construction. But searching the Internet I found another seller with a diagram, but it hardly helped. So I noticed that the only device I was replacing was also made in Italy and I looked at how it was connected and I looked at the schematic and it worked. I just had to go very slowly to make sure I didn't misinterpret anything. Then there were screws in the back box of no apparent use, as well

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
