ASICS C707N Gel Contend Running Soothing Girls' Shoes Review

My son has an enlarged Achilles tendon in both feet and we need good support shoes that are approved by his orthopedist. We have special insoles that should come in, but these shoes are of high quality and follow the orthopedist's recommendations.

My 8 year old daughter loves these shoes. I just switched her to Asics after a few years of wearing the Saucony because she and her brother wore out the Saucony too quickly. They have a more durable sole and laces. Worth the extra money to get a shoe that lasts and looks great!

I have a small foot so I decided to buy a kid size trainer to save money. I bought a 1/2 size larger based on other reviews. I have a slightly wide foot and feel comfortable in it. The color is cute, not too childish. Will update after a few months of use for daily dog walks to show how they hold up!

I love ASICS shoes for my 8 year old. My 8 year old son has always been very rough with his clothes, especially his shoes. He punches holes in Nike, Under Armour, Sketcher etc. But he's had several ASICS and they never fall apart. He always lets them grow before something breaks. I love this brand.

Love these shoes. This is the third pair I've bought for my son. His feet hurt when he walks in bad shoes that give him good grip. He's 8 and I buy a pair every 6-9 months. He only wears sneakers and prefers only one pair at a time. Very sporty so wear them a lot. I am very happy with these shoes and will continue to buy them!

My son usually wears a 5.5 and I bought him 6 and they just fit with a little more room. He says they are comfortable, I find the insole is a bit thin. After only wearing them twice, I noticed that threads were sticking out on the sides. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the shoe, but I noticed that it happened to another reviewer with shoes of the same color. I love Ascics sneakers and so do my boys! This year they decided to buy the same sneakers for school. The only problem was that they were too big. The elder had a different Askis style a size 3 1/2 and his feet stick out forward so he ordered 4 and they are huge. Ordered 3 1/2 more and fits perfectly. Same problem with the youngest kid got 1 and they are taller than the previous 1 1/2. It's ok I will order 13 1/2 and as they love the color so much we will have them when they grow up. Just…

I bought these shoes for my daughter on April 17th. hey legs grow, so that's it; However, I am now very upset that after only 2 months of use (and another week and a half before school!) I had to buy another pair of sneakers. This time it's not about growing legs, it's about bad craftsmanship. The hard plastic on the back of the shoe (which protects the heel) has broken in half and is now resting against the shoe making it very painful to wear. I don't understand why it's so hard to find…

For those of you who are hesitant to buy Asics for your kids, let me say this my son wears TERRIBLE shoes. I've ALWAYS bought him Nikes or Adidas since kindergarten and usually within a month or two after wearing them ONLY TO SCHOOL, although the sock gets tighter, the sole falls off, the laces ripped etc. HOWEVER I have my son Bought a pair of Asics for school right after Christmas last year and he wore them through the end of the school year in May and THEY ARE HOLDING PERFECTLY!
