ASICS Contend Running Shoes Black Girls' Shoes for Athletic Review

I love the ASICS brand for my kids! These are my shoes for my kids as they have virtually no arch! These cute shoes fit my seven year old prefect daughter! I usually order children's shoes from Amzaon as most shoe stores don't have these smaller sizes!

So my 4 year old has been wearing them for a month now (started wearing 3/1 and now 4/4). He's not very rough with shoes, but they didn't last with us this month. When he first put them on, the seam at the front of the sock (where the elastic runs from bottom to front) came undone! Two more stitches came loose last week (pictured). Then he came home today. and a rubber band came out of one of the fake laces! (Pictured) For what you pay for these shoes for a 4 year old I would expect a little…

I love these shoes but they are smaller than the other ASICS shoes we have bought for our daughter. So they are not bigger than the previous shoes we bought, but almost the same size.

The picture of the item I ordered showed blue and neon yellow. I ordered for my son who was completely disappointed upon opening and found blue and pink shoes 👎🏻.

My five year old loves ASICS. I love the quality and this shoe convinces. I like that they have a picture of a whale on the sole so it knows which foot is on the left and which is on the right. Green and blue are very suitable for little boys.

My little boy loves these shoes! He didn't take them off the first day they arrived. Quality is excellent as I waited to review until he's worn it for a while. My son has a bad attitude towards shoes and they lasted with only a few signs of wear. Other shoes should be changed at this point.

Usually ASICS running shoes are of excellent quality, well designed and durable. There was none! The foot strap (velcro) was too short for my normal sized baby foot! The fabric is thin and of poor quality. Also small in size. As another reviewer noted, the images of the whale on the right inside the shoe are helpful, but not enough to address other shortcomings. Got the color I ordered. Pass this model on to ASICS, keep looking!

The best children's shoes. We've tried all the big brands and Asics has the slightest advantage over my kids. Shoes are light, stable, easy to care for and comfortable.

my first Asics pair. very nice shoes. despite walking less than usual (had to buy a size bigger than usual but tried on in store before), good arch support which is very important to me. sweet colors. I stay with asics.

My second grader loves these fun bow tie shoes. Great sports shoes that also look great with school clothes. Fits well on her narrow leg.

The shoes looked great! The quality was really good. My son said they are very comfortable and don't hurt his feet. He loves them and this is his second pair. They are very durable and I plan to buy more!

My son has only worn Asics shoes for years because he claims other brands make him uncomfortable. He wears them every day for all activities, summer or rain. Pairs always last a year until adulthood.

The best shoes my son has ever had. We've tried them all but my son has never praised his shoes. With Asics Noosa he made it. They are comfortable and well made. I will buy them again!

My 5 year old loves them. He has a slightly wider foot and they fit him perfectly. he also wears out his toes quickly and i can see that they will last a long time

So far it looks like they're doing what the shoes are supposed to do. Watch his fingers and don't get dirty. And don't break. Laugh out loud. I bought them for my 8 year old son who loved to run and has outgrown all of his shoes without telling me. a few months. I measured his feet before ordering and he said the size was big enough to have room to grow. His toes are almost at the top of the shoe. I'll probably be ordering a few more soon.

As a short runner I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well and are of good quality. I buy running shoes for kids but they are usually of poor quality and end up hurting my ankles or knees. It was fantastic. I've been riding in them for 2 months and I have no negatives.

We have ordered these shoes several times and they have proven themselves. Both of our children have flat feet and need good arch support in running shoes. This is the best we have found at this price point. If we outgrow a pair, we just order the next size up in the same shoe! Luckily we had several different colours/prints so mixing them up a bit helps.

My son says they are very comfortable. I have the adult version which is very comfortable and offers great support and cushioning so I ordered the kid's version. They are well made, except for one downside: the velcro is too short and doesn't hold up well either. Asics really skimped on the Velcro. We thought it might be worth a try but my son doesn't wear them to sports because I'm afraid the velcro will come off while running and the sneakers will fall off. I wouldn't buy them again unless…

Had to send back. The length of the shoe was good but unlike last year's Contend 4 and Contend 3 before, they are too narrow and my son's feet are not wide at all. Oddly, one side of the tongue is attached and the Velcro is barely long enough, leaving a bunch of exposed Velcro on the shoe. The straps on previous models were long, but these are ridiculously short. My son loved his previous Contend 4's (of which he's had several pairs) so I'm really sorry that ASICS made these changes.
