👟 ASICS Gel Excite Running Carbon Silver Men's Shoes: Exceptional Comfort and Style for the Active Man Review

This shoe runs 1/2 size smaller. I compared them to other Asics running shoes of the same size and they were about 3/8-1/2" shorter in toe width and 1/4" shorter in length. I sent it back and ordered the next half size up and it's more in line with my expectations. I usually defer a review until I have a better idea of how a product performs over time, but I thought others should be aware of the sizing issue. I'll update later on the overall quality.

I have worn many variations of Asics for over 10 years as they are always comfortable, have a consistent fit and are great value for money but these are by far the best and Most uncomfortable Asics I've ever seen, ever worn. I run 3 times a week and use my running shoes at the gym and they don't seem to cushion the heel or toe when exercising or walking. They're advertised as "Asics Gel" shoes, but they look more like the cheap $15 sneakers you get at Walmart.

Nice low fit running shoe but I find it unusually snug/snug. , but with this Gel-Excite 4, the toe box and instep were still very tight. If I forced myself to wear these shoes, the little toe side of my foot would end up sticking out the outside of the shoe. I don't know why the difference in width and fit is with ASICS. Instead I'm sticking with my ASICS Gel ventures where 10.5 Medium fits as expected. Skip the Excite if you have a narrow foot or don't want to experiment with width.

Inner healing started tearing after 1 month Update: I know my purchases are far away but I have some new gyms in case they get replaced is urgently needed. I used to buy this brand many times, but the quality has deteriorated. 2 pairs of shoes for a month. See attached photo. I wear these shoes 1-2 hours a day exclusively at the indoor gym. Never worn outside. These shoes have gotten miserable.
