After two months of regular wear, the protector on the sole of this shoe falls off and can no longer be worn. I have had many pairs of Asics over the years and have used them long and hard and they have never fallen apart like these scrams after only a few months of light use. I cannot recommend this shoe. I received the shoes and they are exactly what I expected as I have been buying ASICS from local stores such as Academy Sports and Outdoors or other shoe stores for a while. Just my wife who works in the ER, X-rays, wears shoes. Update: the soles are wearing out quicker than usual, and when I walk on wet pavement, water seeps in and makes a weird sloshing noise. Still quite comfortable but not as durable as some of the other ASICS I've had. That may be because I wore them outdoors more than my work shoes, though, and did a lot of outdoor work last summer and fall. However, a year is a pretty good lifespan for an active shoe.
