Perfect fit and very stable shoes for children. We also have a pair of Nike running shoes but it shows in the cushioning and support and they are easy to walk on.

Bought for walking/jogging. I wear women's shoes in sizes 7 1/2-8. I bought them in size 6 (big kids) and they fit perfectly! They have a solid rubber sole and a really great grip. They are great for training in the rain. Also, they are quite warm.

I am very fond of Asics, I have the same shoes for myself, but my child seems to be somewhere between "wide" and "normal" in most sneakers. They're definitely sitting on them, and we thought long and hard about whether to return them or not. They are cute and seem to fit well, our little one is comfortable in them but I don't like taking them on long hikes as they are tight.

If I could give this shoe minus 5 stars I would. I was so excited about it until I came home after work and took them off. My ankles were so swollen and painful (it hurt to walk and I had a limp). I felt like I literally broke my ankles. I suspect these shoes offer little to no support. I am size 8. Size 6 worked in a woman's dress. Unfortunately these shoes are very terrible.

I bought these shoes for my 8 year old after he had worn out the treads of his old running shoes. He runs about 10 miles a week on trails so I thought it would be great for him. At first he hated her looks. After a few runs he decided he loves them and wears them all the time. They held up better than other youth shoes we tried and it feels like they have better traction when running on the trail surface. He has a wide foot and the wide size suits him so I think they are TTS enough.
