Too hard, no rebound.

Male, 5ft 7in, 165lbs, size 9. Noosa Tri 13. Had high hopes for this Asics race day shoe. After running 6 miles I found the midsole to be anything but firm. I know there must be some kind of crack here, but I couldn't spot it. In terms of cushioning, the shoe lands flat and exits with a flat kick. At the end of a run, I usually like to slow down or walk and then do a series of short sprints (preferably uphill). Not in them did I find that I was too tired and tired. After a short run. This shoeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rubber outsole
Cons
  • Safety

Excellent comfort and knee cushioning.

I'm 6'3", 185 lbs and prefer shoes with strong torsion support, good cushioning and light weight. I've run in Asics for many years, but I've never had these types of shoes. I'm in the GT -1000 and similar models but will never go back to them after buying these shoes.Although it took me a few miles to get used to the conical shape of the sole (feels like a little bit of. lean forward).they)this is the most comfortable long run shoe I've ever had.I ran 12 miles in them the first day I got themโ€ฆ

Pros
  • AHAR Plus outsole. Strategically placed in critical areas of the outsole, this exceptionally durable compound is 50% stronger than standard ASICS abrasion rubber.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

High quality running shoe

Updated after 1 month, June 2, 2021 * Still love them, they don't tear apart and the quality is the same as when I bought it. Holding on to insults and constant running. No fake. That's the real deal. * I am an avid 6ft 185lb runner. Size 12 is ok, these fit perfectly. Walk 2-3 km daily. Feels comfortable, like walking on air. They fit well when laced up and tightened, the laces are great and don't slip off the tie. The highest quality laces I've ever had. Looks nice !

Pros
  • GUIDESOLE technology. The curved outsole design and rigid forefoot of our GUIDESOLE technology reduces ankle flexion and provides a shock-absorbing landing zone that reduces fatigue in other leg muscles and increases runner efficiency.
