☕️ Asobu Gray Modern Tea and French Coffee Press Mug: Perfect Combination of Style and Function Review

I would not recommend this travel mug. I've had it for less than a month and it's already broken. Coffee seeps between the walls and spills out as you drink. It is bulky and difficult to drink hot beverages from. It breaks down into 7 parts, which is a lot. I switched to a Starbucks stainless steel street press.

I was very disappointed with this product. I liked the look, but when we tried it the butt was practically stuck. It looks like the plastic inside has melted. After unscrewing, the rod was too difficult to move up and down due to the friction of the plastic filter. It was serious, badly done. I do not recommend anyone to buy. After reading decent reviews I decided to give it a try but it seems poorly designed.

Item arrived on time and was VERY well packaged. It was a gift for my coffee loving brother who was leaving for Seattle the next day for his birthday. He was very excited and very happy with the quality upon initial inspection (aka "play with it until you know what cool stuff it does"). We have a French Press at home, but it's always here and everywhere, so we hope he gets a lot of use out of it!

I love the idea of this coffee maker. However, it could have been done a little better. My roommates have a lot of fresh tea that they buy, but I never got the hype and just used regular tea bags when drinking tea. Wow. I love this product. It's a travel mug and a french press. It's great for brewing a gourmet cup of coffee when I have a busy schedule in the morning. I can just put my coffee grounds in a mug, add hot water, steep, and then press when I'm ready to seal the mug to go.
