Review on ☕️ Asobu Gray Modern Tea and French Coffee Press Mug: Perfect Combination of Style and Function by Blake Burrell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very happy with this press!

I am a tea blogger and have a lot of gadgets and gasmos when it comes to teaware. I have infusors, presses, bags, balloons, whatever, I have. this is my addiction I have used this press to brew white tea and I have to say it worked very well. There are a few nuances with the bottle itself, but for a fellow traveler brewing tea, this works great. Throw the tea in the bottle, add prepared water and fasten the top cap, but you have to make sure you don't open the plunger and let it stick out like in the picture. This allows the tea to brew and infuse. Once your tea is ready, simply push the plunger down until you can securely lock the tab back into the lid. Really quite simple and quite effective. My only complaint is that the liquid didn't seem to drain out of the hole in the lid ie where you were supposed to be drinking. It seems to be coming out pretty slowly. I even poured the rest of the tea into the cup and it seemed to take a while to pour out. I don't know what the point is, but for what this press is trying to achieve, it's doing its job. I have a few other brew mugs, but love the fact that this one has a press and not just some kind of strainer to keep all the loose tea out when I'm drinking it while I commute/work/etc. e The tea itself stayed hot for a while before pouring it into my cup. I also love the look of the bottle and the fact that I can switch to coffee if I want, although I doubt I will as it can sometimes produce a coffee flavor that seems to sink into the plastic. Really no major complaints. and I'm excited to add it to my teaware family. I recommend a portable tea press to anyone in the market. Better than others I've tried, that's for sure. It takes a few minutes to figure out how it works, but once you get the hang of it, you're done. The press is actually screwed into the piston, it unscrewed to the point where the pressing part detached from the piston handle, leaving me in a mess. I don't know why the French pressings don't stay together, but I'm downgrading mine Rating to reflect this issue. I'll probably only use this as a water bottle to avoid future messes. ***** I bought this press at a discount in exchange for my review. I am a tea blogger and drink and prepare several different types of tea every day. My reviews are 100% my own and based on my positive/negative experiences and thoughts, regardless of whether I may have received a discount or free product. I am always 100% honest. Thanks for reading and have a nice day!**
