The best gauge I've ever used.

I love this tool for checking and adjusting tire air. I love that this gauge has a clip that holds it to the valve stem, freeing up one hand that would normally hold the fitting on the valve stem. This is very handy for inflating bike tires where the valve stem tries to push into the inside of the wheel when you try to pump air. Even with car tires, it is better not to press them against the valve stem during use. . If you inflate and exceed the recommended tire pressure, you can simply pull…

Good luck next time

What can I say. Based on all the positive reviews, I thought my experience with this tire inflator would be positive. Boy was I wrong. It never worked from the start. When I tried to use it, a lot of air leaked out somewhere behind the dial. I suppose you could assume I just got a lemon and my case was an isolated case, but that still doesn't make it right. I returned mine and got a refund instead. That's disappointing as the materials and overall design feel solid and not cheap. If you decide…

Leaking less than a year

I am a master DIYer and bought it for home use to service a few cars. As mentioned, the cartridge was difficult to install properly, but after a little adjustment it mostly worked. I'm wondering if this is a quality control issue as not everyone seeing this has this issue. I bought it in July 2016 and a few months ago it stopped working as the pressure gauge was losing air and it was becoming increasingly difficult to engage the cartridge without leaking. I finally got to the reviews hoping to…

I love that you can only add what you need.

The only thing I regret about buying this tire gauge is that I didn't get it sooner. I watched it for about 6 months and finally bought it. It was a little scary spending that much without seeing it. I have too many of these things leaking or blocking the gauge. This thing is sturdy and very accurate. I checked with a good quality standard sensor and it is accurate. I love how you can add only what you need and get accurate printing. The fastest, easiest and most accurate instrument I have ever

Large ergonomic handle

Just received this item and had to try it. The cartridge must sit directly on the valve stem, otherwise it will leak. I had to press the liner onto a hoop to prevent air escaping when inflating, which somewhat defeats the purpose of the self-locking liner. The gauge is nice and easy to read, it's a lot bigger than I imagined but feels solid. I had to use a lot of teflon tape on the air fitting I installed to connect it to my compressor hose. I like the look of the stainless steel tubing, but…

Excellent quality and very useful

There are cheaper air pumps out there but I wanted a quality product that would last for years. I think that fits the picture quite well. It's big and heavy, but it screams quality. I use a small Makita air compressor, primarily for inflating tires. This inflator attaches well to most valve stems and stays in place. I had to hold it in place for some bike tires but it didn't make much of a difference. The inflation/deflation mechanism is easy to use and the sensor seems fairly accurate and easy

The right tool for the job

If you have an air compressor and want to keep your car or bike tires inflated to the right pressure all year round, this is the right tool for the job. It is so convenient that removing/installing the tire cap takes about the same time as inflating/adjusting the pressure with this tool. If you don't know how it works, pull the lever a little to deflate (with fine/progressive deflation) and pull it all the way to inflate (no progressive inflation as far as I can tell, hence it is the fine…

Almost perfect result

First impression. The gauge is huge, much bigger than I thought, which doesn't bother me because it's easier to read. It also feels stiff, seems like if you throw it on the ground it will bounce back at you depending on how much rubber it has (which is also a plus for me). I was actually expecting leaks as another review said it was leaking from the gauge range but no leaks at all. I also like that it sticks really well to the valve stem, I doubt it will as just working in the shop today on the
