Just received this item and had to try it. The cartridge must sit directly on the valve stem, otherwise it will leak. I had to press the liner onto a hoop to prevent air escaping when inflating, which somewhat defeats the purpose of the self-locking liner. There are cheaper air pumps out there but I wanted a quality product that would last for years. I think that fits the picture quite well. It's big and heavy, but it screams quality. I use a small Makita air compressor, primarily for inflating tires. This inflator attaches well to most valve stems and stays in place.
