It was purchased for use with one of Apple's new M1 Mac Mini computers. It worked as expected, the webcam was automatically detected without any special driver. The product description says nothing about having to buy a VESA mount if we don't want to use the included stand. I really wanted to mount my monitor on a triple monitor stand and make it the center of the array. Now I have to order another monitor. All of this frustration could have been avoided by including a VESA mount instead of trying to scam us out of extra money to mount the monitor differently. As the description says we can. Totally dissatisfied!

However, I had high hopes for this monitor, but it had three main problems: first, the camera flickered and the video quality was very poor, and second, the sound from the monitor was very poor and I had to use the laptop's built-in audio, third, the webcam requires one additional cable. I bought it a few months ago and it just doesn't work with Mac products. You can get the monitor to work (sometimes) but the camera won't work. The picture quality is decent, the camera isn't bad, but it was a waste of money for me.

I bought this monitor and was moving at the time, I opened it up after 30 days of moving, it didn't work, I got the green screen of death, sent it back and this company charged me a $175 restocking fee? It didn't work so why are they refilling? My mistake was that I bought the same monitor from them before I got my refund. I will never buy products from this company again.

The monitor is good but they sent me the wrong size. Ordered 27 inch and received 24 inch. Very dissatisfied with the size change. Since I paid for 27" and not for 24".

I bought it mainly because it has a built-in webcam. After spending too much time trying to figure out why it wasn't working, I finally found out that you need a separate USB cable to use the camera! smh I asked the seller, he wasn't interested!

The instructions for changing the display settings are incorrect. It is said that you can lock the settings by pressing and holding the menu button (button 2) for 5 seconds. My monitor was locked and after reading and rereading the manual and contacting the manufacturer I have to figure out for myself that button #5 is the one that needs to be pressed for 5 seconds.

The monitor display is not a problem. This is an excellent monitor. The problem arose when we had to use the camera. There is no way to adjust the camera's focus and the image is blurry during a call.

It's great to have a built-in camera, but the 1080 resolution is far too low for the screen on that side of you within two meters of the screen. Up close, a "mesh lining" or "screen door" effect is visible, separating individual pixels and the gaps between them are visible.

We never managed to get the webcam to work. Support tried but failed. We tried this with both a Chromebook and an HP laptop. The monitor's display works well, so we're just keeping it for this purpose, but we can't use it for conference calls or large meetings as expected.

The monitor impresses with its video and its functions. However, the sound sounds very tinny. I have another ASUS monitor (different model) with decent sound. Also the monitor audio level should be set to 100% (PC audio @ 80%) to hear the monitor adequately. Terrible sound - a defect or a feature of this model? The webcam is not working. I called customer service and they were useless. Directed me back to the user manual which I followed but still didn't solve the problem. What are these people paid for? I bought it in April 2022. It is now August 2022. The camera has stopped working. My laptop can't even find it to try to install or reinstall the driver. The speakers are of very, very poor quality. Buying this monitor is not worth it if you want to use it for video conferencing in the home office. I'm trying to figure out how to contact customer service. I'll try to update as I go.

Monitor quality is good. good value But I spent hours setting up the webcam. I called Asus tech support and got an idiot who kept telling me I need Windows even though I told him I had a MacBook Air. Then he told me that the manual says the webcam needs Windows. However, I didn't have any instructions with me when I bought it, as I explain to him. I liked the mounting base which allows for more flexibility in screen positioning. However, there was no installation guide and the internet was not very helpful. I had to reset the speakers and mic when switching from Zoom to Skype and Google Meet. So if you only use one app you might need to tweak it and it will probably work just fine, but if you're a multitasker be careful as you'll have to go into the device manager frequently. We've only had this monitor for a few days, but so far we're really liking it. A nice big screen with a very thin bezel looks very nice. My husband says he wishes it was brighter when he's watching basketball in a slingbox, but it's bright enough for everything else. As long as we like it. AJ
