Great monitor, suits me

This is a good monitor. The first one I got had the most dead pixels, but I got a full refund and ordered a new one that has no dead pixels and works great. Color contrast and overall picture quality are really good. I'm using it as a secondary display connected to my 3 year old laptop with a GTX 1060, so I can't comment on the refresh rate and response time in games, but it seems to work fine. The stand is also surprisingly good compared to other monitors I've looked at. A really good monitor…

What are the reasons to consider πŸ–₯️ ASUS Monitor FreeSync DisplayPort Renewed 28" with Adjustable Pivot, Tilt, and Height – HD/4K Display?
  • Companion to another Asus monitor. grandson is very happy.
What are the disadvantages of πŸ–₯️ ASUS Monitor FreeSync DisplayPort Renewed 28" with Adjustable Pivot, Tilt, and Height – HD/4K Display?
  • Non-intuitive menu system

If you can get your hands on any of these before proceeding, DO IT! The updated model is not so premium (VG289Q1A). difference in quality. This model is heavier - better PCU (consumes more watts). Also the stand is very well built (solid as a rock). I have my BenQ 31" 4K professional monitor as the middle monitor and they are mounted on each side (3 panels for work/photoshop etc.). The VG289Q is an upgrade from a pair of 20-inch 740p monitors that are 15 years old. What difference does it make…

Great product for the price

Was looking for a monitor for my gaming rig and was deciding between a BenQ 4K monitor and this one. I saw it was for sale and got this one. I was immediately struck by the size and clarity. I will buy again for my second monitor.

Great monitor though

So one image is my 2k model from around 2016 and the other is a 4k model released last year. 4k is sooooo dark compared to the 2k model. Would happen with this model 4k Asus (both are from the same company). Really pumped up the quality of brightness. Feels like 50 nits
