This stuff really works. Look, no "leak stop" product is perfect. But I have a really leaking 200,000 mile Honda Civic that is leaking oil in all the usual places a Honda makes and although I've spent a lot of time and money trying to fix the leaks I end up feeling like that I can't win and give up and try some magical liquid stuff like this. And it slows down the leaks - to a much lesser extent for me. It doesn't last forever - I put a bottle in a Civic about every year and also in a Chevy…

rear main seal leak fixed (seems so)

good Scotty Kilmer (so far) seems to be true (it's not surprising) - if you don't know who Scotty is - look it up on YouTube - instructions have come complicated , but 1 bottle of ATP appears for every 6 liters of motor oil, this ratio - maybe Land Cruiser takes 7+ liters - but only added one bottle - long suspected that my rear main seal was shot - cost-benefit analysis. me giving up the transmission and Xfer case - just for a $15 print or try it. At $10 a bottle, it really is a no-brainer…

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Was damaged

So worth a try!: Oils & Fluids

When I first bought this I tried it on my 12th car a long time ago. Rear main seal leaking. It did not work. Thought it was just typical of the good to be true. The 2nd bottle was on my shelf. Fast forward a year or more. A large amount of oil is leaking from the bottom of the engine oil pan on a 2011 BMW 328i. I was hoping it was the valve cover gasket. Changed, still leaking. I changed the oil, filled it up and let it idle for about 10 minutes right after filling it up. Rode about 19 miles…

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It smoked quite a bit the first day

My wife has a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine. More than a liter was spent per month. I thought the rings should be completely worn out. I found out what the heck and tried a bottle of AT-205 in the engine. The first day I smoked quite heavily, then I just quit smoking. If I leave the car idling for more than 5 minutes you see blue smoke indicating your oil is burning. But it never smoked while driving. The comrade said that most likely these are valve seals, not…
