Have been using this lantern for over a month now and have weathered many storms with heavy rain. No problem. I bought this light to replace a full size light bar and I was not disappointed. I didn't like the magnets (they rust over time) so I mounted them on the roof rack crossbar and am very happy with it.

I'm a safety officer. I bought this lamp for one of my employees. Very bright, easily visible in daylight and impossible to miss at night. This is suitable for road work and is probably the best value for money. However, I would recommend adding more light as well. On the rear window and on the windshield.
