Ok but a few issues

I've had this phone for a month now and the phone itself has worked fine so far. But I'm still trying to figure out a few things: - I'm not sure if there's a way to lower the volume on the console's menu keys, which annoys me a bit, especially when I have to enter multiple numbers in the address book. - The answering machine cannot be muted. I can turn off the ringer on both lines but the message still plays when calls come in. I tried using the volume button during an incoming call but to noโ€ฆ

  • 2 line operation

Almost perfect for us.

Totally agree with the previous two reviews, especially the Uberchemist with a list of pros and cons. I think text isn't as legible as on other phones because the LCD window has a narrower width, which makes the characters look very tall and narrow. The phones are very light but have very good build quality. Auto answer can be easily disabled for one or both lines by pressing a button on the base station. The speaking voice ("calls are not answered") is very pleasant. Most importantly, you canโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Caller ID/Call Waiting - remembers 50 calls
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Great two line system for home or business

There are already great reviews for this system so I will only comment on what influenced our purchase decision. Sound quality was of paramount importance to us, and these devices have excellent sound. My husband has a hearing problem and loves this phone system. Second, we needed a lot of extensions because we have a big house and we were always running from room to room to answer the phone. Third, we wanted an intercom for the same reason โ€” not to run from room to room to ask someone a quickโ€ฆ

Pros
  • DSL subscribers may need a DSL filter
Cons
  • Security

Efficient system albeit without additional options

Our small office recently upgraded an old AT&T phone system (AT&T TL76108 5.8GHz Dual Channel Digital wireless/cordless phone systems). Answering machine (titanium and metallic carbon) for this newer model (TL88102) We also ordered 4 additional phones (TL88002) My pros and cons rating is based on comparison to older AT&T systems PROS: Very clear sound quality and excellent range with DECT 6.0 technology Slim and light design, the phone feels more like a "beam" than a "brick" in your hand Alsoโ€ฆ
