DIY for your VW/Audi

These sockets are expensive and not found at the average auto parts store. This is important if you want to do any work on the cylinder head. They are not shockproof and should not be used with them. They worked fine on my 2.5L cylinder head.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

If you need a Ribe bit, you need a Ribe bit.

If you need a Ribe, you need it. Use the rib to hold the bolt while applying torque to the nut on the other end, not to loosen the bolt itself. I believe this weakness is a feature of the Ribe specification and not a nozzle manufacturer fault. No problem if used correctly.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

it does not fit: Heavy & Commercial Equipment

I bought this kit over a year ago because it was a good buy at $25. Finally opened up for use and the M10 socket doesn't fit the screw. I went to my friend who has the exact same kit. Its M10 socket fits. Due to the fact that it was bought a long time ago, there is no possibility of a return/exchange. The price today is around $35. Hopefully the next set will be a better fit. I usually have good luck with ATD products.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some Issues
