Very comfortable but very strong ports

5 stars for functionality. I bought this hub to use with my tablets which only have a USB port. For connecting external devices (especially DVD/CD drives) without charging the tablet during lengthy updates or backups, an active hub is almost something special. You don't want the tablet to turn off due to a dead battery during these operations. I deduct 1 star because the USB ports are quite "tight"; To remove a flash drive or other device, you need to pull hard. When I used the rounded, flat…

Pros
  • Sleek yet functional design: Sleek, gloss black anti-UV coating with 4 USB 3.0 ports for ultra-fast data transfer and smart charging and a fifth port, a high-capacity charging port, ideal for your iPad/tablet. Individual status LEDs and on/off switches for each USB port enable convenient control. Optional USB extension cables meet the needs of different users.

Good USB hub for the price!

Love this USB hub! Some of its advantages: extra power bank, USB 3* speed, extra charging port, small size and long extension cable for USB 3. The extra power bank is great for charging your devices without having to connect it to a computer and can work perfectly without power supply to connect devices to your computer. It doesn't matter much as transferring a 1.8GB file through the hub took just 12 seconds longer than directly through the USB port on my computer. It's very unlikely that the…

Pros
  • Industrial-grade protection: Rugged construction, built-in overvoltage and overcurrent protection, and hardened industrial-grade 5mm cable for years of use
Cons
  • Something different

I bought a powered USB hub in May 2020. It's been a great addition to my system. In September he appeared to be in trouble and I have revised my review negatively. After about a month of frustration, my computer died. I swapped the PC and the Atolla USB 3.0 4+1 Multiport Hub for data transfer and charging with a power bank worked great. I initially gave it five stars but changed that when I thought it was no longer working. Now I'm giving it five stars again because it's a fantastic accessory…

This usb hub is great for usb hubs

Works great. Like the charge-only port "up to 2.4A" at the end. The data ports (which also charge, but with less power) support USB 3.0, but I'm using them on a USB 2 system and they're fine. The blue-lit ports make viewing easier, and I like being able to turn off the ones I'm not using by pressing the appropriate buttons. Bought from Atolla made by Revain for 23.98 in July 2019. Would buy again but no need as this one is still perfect. Tip: Use good quality cables for everything you use the…

Works better than advertised!

I had my doubts about this hub as it only comes with a 3A power supply. A 3 amp PSU can't provide enough current to simultaneously power 4 ports at 0.5A per port and 1 charging port at 2.4A. The manual even states that 4 separate ports can draw up to 1.5A However, I did a stress test on the small power supply and its tiny 22 gauge wires. Tests showed that it delivers 5.268 volts when unloaded. Good sign at higher voltage. Competing test results: 1A: 5.228 volts 2A: 5.188 volts 3A: 5.147 volts…
