Not working well for HDMI cable

I bought this cable for my Ninja V after two months of use, this cable no longer works with no signs of damage, still looks new but after use So much money for cables I don't know maybe it's a fake that was sent to me but very disappointed with this product

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons

Faulty out of box

I bought this cable for my GH5 to record 10 bit in Ninja V. The cable that came out of the box had a short circuit and if I give it a light bump it will break the connection to the camera. The constant switching off and on led to dropped frames and days of frustration. Unacceptable for such an expensive cable.

Pros
  • Not just useful for it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Annoyed

Get what you pay for

Definitely feels like the most versatile and durable HDMI cable ever used. I bought a spare part that I will probably never need. the only reliable chord for 4k 60 prores. You know you already have Atmos, the chord is real. It even looks cool. just do it already

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

GH5 4K 60p works with video cables

That's the same amount of money for an HDMI cable, but it was the only cable that could record 60p on my Atomos recorder. Hopefully non-original cables can catch up because I need a replacement and won't be spending like $100 on it again. Update: When recording 4k 24p, the video started leaking. Will return.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • It's driving me insane

Stop buying cheap cables that don't work

This is an absolute must if you're recording in 4k 60p or higher. It sucks that it's so expensive, but consider it an investment. You've already invested in a monitor/external recorder and unfortunately that's the icing on the cake. I bought and returned maybe 5 or 6 HDMI cables that couldn't handle the data rate. This cable is built to last and I haven't had a single failure while capturing 4.2k 4:2:2 video. Make an investment.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Poor set
