🚀 Enhanced ATP Y-801 Speedometer Cable for Improved Performance Review

Part does not even come close to matching the description. Although the ATP website lists the correct number. The description says 82 inches. You only get 38 inches.

The cable housing ripped as soon as I took it out of the box. This part is not easy to replace. decided on a better one as I didn't want to do it again anytime soon.

I used this on my 1964 Ford F-100 to replace the stock cable. I've replaced the 460/C6 combo and it's enough to walk along the frame and still clean the 3" exhaust, steering column/housing and brake booster.

I installed this on a 1968 Mustang to replace a broken wire. My speedo was still bouncing after I installed this wire and upon examining it I found that the new wire was damaged in the rubber sleeve from the factory. Don't waste your time and money with this product.

Item arrived on time and well packaged. The transmission side of the cable required some very minor modifications to fit properly. There was a sort of "burr" around the neck that didn't fit into the drivetrain until I cut the burr off. The hold-down then had to be straightened before it would hold the cable in the gearbox. After that, the landing was excellent. I'm still not complaining as it's the cheapest cable I could find (almost halfway), it's great value for money. Now my speedo works!
