That's cheap junk.

They come loose at the slightest tug. The wire spring comes straight out of the cap as if they weren't connected at all. Even duct tape doesn't hold them together very well.

Avoid this - very low quality

The absolute worst I have ever used. When disconnecting from the wires, the built in spring that grips the wires comes out of the plastic rendering them useless but needs to be cut off the wire. In 40 years I have never had such a self-destruct of wire nuts.

Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Perfect for landscape lighting!

If you plan to bury low voltage landscape lighting wiring in soil or mulch, be careful to keep water out of any connectors. They are perfect for that. 2 or 3 wires fit easily into the connector, a simple twist makes your connection secure, and the lube inside should keep moisture out for years.

Cons
  • Some bugs

Not as strong as I expected

Typical grease filled wire nuts. Quite expensive, but I like to do something "once". And the landscape valve wiring is exposed to the elements! Not as strong as I would like. to the wires, otherwise I'll peel off a little at the puff,

Cons
  • No automatic
