A great guide for someone like me.

Fantastic book, a must have when doing a transmission rebuild/overhaul. But the delivery to the arm was good but the pen before it got to me is iffy. They were pretty rude with the delivery here.

Save money if you don't need a technical manual for your gearbox.

Well, it's a technical manual. So I think that's what he's saying. Not much help if you're working on the transfer yourself. I've seen videos on YouTube that were more helpful. Not bad as an additional link though.

Check clearance specs

Not bad. If you have a Helms factory manual you may already have all of this information with the SAME picture (clearer). My 1995 helmets had it all, but my 2002s didn't. It also found the 3-4 clutch pack gap specs to be WRONG, but everything else seemed correct (check w Helms and online).

Tech Book - Valve Body Kits

Okay folks, this is a transmission tech book with a lot of transmission detail, not a novice rebuild guide. But there are many good things in the book. This is more of a book for technicians. No recovery book for dummies. Can help identify what's wrong with your transmission and how to fix it.

Very poorly written guide.

Very poorly written. Many details are missing. No pictures, only drawings, and not very good ones. Not a manual for those who haven't ridden at least a couple of 4L60E's. Transmission. I don't remember the manual I had before, it's not the atsg manual. I lost this manual a year ago when I moved house. If I could remember what the guide was, I would buy this guide again. I would not recommend this guide to anyone who survived their first 4L60E or even their second.

Very poor print and image quality. Poor quality instructions. Not completely!

The labeling in this manual is worse on some pages than in an old cheap parts book from the 1970s. The letters are poorly printed and barely visible in places, as if trying to print them with less than a third of the ink needed to print. The charts, as many others have said in the reviews, are very useless in many cases, they are often poorly illustrated and not very detailed. It is also associated with people who have no expectations of a product they have had to pay for, or people who are soโ€ฆ
