Fog Fuse Saves the Day

Fog Fuse is beautiful. I bought this for an art project but have used it more for repairing clothes than anything else. I have two cats who keep getting their claws caught in my husband's favorite Hawaiian shirts. These L-shaped tears can be corrected with Misty-fuse and a thin cloth. When I'm done, he'll never know the difference, and I don't have to throw away my favorite shirt. This is the best I've used for this type of repair.

Easy to work with

I mentioned this product in Natl. Quilter's Circle as it is easy to use for a technique called "deconstructed crazy quilting" and has a very old, damaged and fragile crazy silk quilt which as such is beyond repair, I bought this product along with a silicone Press mat and applied pieces of silk according to the instructions. It was very light and stuck perfectly. (If only my quilting was the same.) However, I saved what I could and am now trying to figure out what I want to do with the 4 little

That's exactly what he claims.

Don't do it like me, don't think it's like many other fusible products. It sticks really well, it's really good too (my husband seemed to describe it as a cross between a spider web and a dryer sheet). This caused the "don't be like me" moment - I didn't seem to have cropped it perfectly to what I needed to blend (bright colors, it was hard to see, I thought everything was trimmed nice and neat) and every tiny one bit i missed, stuck to my iron very well, oops. However, I never use this iron…
