Pretty easy to use but you have to take your time with each piece of cheese. It doesn't have to be near freezing like some food processors require, but a small keg has a tendency to clog quickly if you don't run it at the right speed. The slicer provides a very thin cut, but a coarse grater is ideal for what we need. I recommend the product. Good value for money, a fraction of the cost of the Kitchen Aid attachment.

I bought this to quickly chop an extra jalapeno pepper from our garden. The cutting attachment is thin and not sharp at all. I've experimented with different speeds according to the instructions and nothing has worked. Although I managed to eat a load of peppers, I only pressed so hard that my wife's insanely heavy KitchenAid was about to crash. Sometimes we are surprised by cheap goods, but unfortunately this is not one of those times. Not impressed and not even bothered to get a refund.

I was very happy to get this slicer at a good price. When I opened the box and pulled out my new toy, I immediately noticed how thin the metal blades are, they didn't feel sharp at all. I cut a small onion in half and put it in the machine (with a chopping blade). Nothing happened.nada. No way would I cut it. I just turned around. Adjusting the speed, I squeezed the filler neck, fished out the onion, and cut it in half again. Still not to cut! I took out the lightbulb and stood there confused…
