Need a gas tank vent cap

Not a bad gas bottle for the price. As everyone says the tank is not vented, mine was pressurized from heat and also sucked in while running on my outboard motor all day.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Not sure

Better than the original

This 6 gallon fuel tank is exactly the same as the original except there was no bloat from the gas vapors while the original was nearly twice the size. Great purchase, I am completely satisfied. Fast Seller Service.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • little things

Good product: motorcycles and power sports

The product arrived well packaged and is amazing. The last one I had was with a gas sensor. It doesn't matter, nor a good strong gas tank. and. will be good for 2 years or more weather permitting and will order another if needed. I prefer the one with the gas sensor. You just have to be careful when ordering. Very reasonable price.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Operating speed

One of them is defective. Update, they both really suck!

This tank looks and feels like a great product but I have had one defective product out of two. My garage smelled of gasoline. I decided to try putting it upright thinking it might be a valve, but when I grabbed the handle I was greeted with gas. It looks like the seam on the outside is not finished.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not worth the price and certainly not worth the effort

The tank pressure is crazy. Under pressure, it pushed 3 gallons of gas and 2-stroke oil out of the tank through a small suction port onto the bottom of my boat. Now the tank is warped and will not return to its original shape. The damn thing is useless. I'd love to return it to Atwood, but I suspect they don't want that either.

Great slightly updated tank

Added a second 6 gallon tank to my boat. This one vents automatically which is one less thing to forget or do and I appreciate it compared to the old one I have. It swells a lot and has a sticker advising that this will happen in the hot sun. I premix petrol/oil and it's easy to see the fuel level by looking at it. I'm not sure why anyone would pay more for a fuel gauge. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Gas tanks
Cons
  • I have no real complaints about this, everything is fine

Good tank, parts available from Revain

Good tank. A working lid is available from Revain for over $20. An additional item that allows you to attach a hose will cost another $14-20. I only bought things left and right before realizing that the whole kit: tank, hose, cap and nozzle is the same as buying everything together. If you're interested because you're buying a "cheap" tank, they've got you. You'll be in it for about $100 no matter how you shake it. Although the tank is good. assembly required.

Pros
  • Fuel system
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Yes. It increases in size.

I bought this to use as an extra gas tank for an old generator. The tank sits under a canopy in my detached garage - it has never seen direct sunlight. I filled it up once, added a fuel stabilizer and parked it in the corner about 8 months ago. And once a week I notice it's gotten bigger and I open the gas cap a little to air it out. Whatever system of "self-ventilation" they claim, it was particularly effective there. Objectively it's not a big problem for me, but I can't imagine how much the…
