Perfect Fit! Used on the Lund Impact Boat 2012! Will buy another one as a backup. Mounted in a not very good place, prone to dock rash!

Much better than replacing the entire vent. I was able to change this without taking apart anything on my boat, just unbolt and replace. If you've broken yours in the dock like me, then this is what you need.

This was exactly the replacement I needed for my Lund Pro V gas cap. The boat requires two identical covers and that's it. The dealer said to the best of his knowledge the cap had not been altered. A bit silly if you ask me because all it took was a swipe on the pier and they came off. Why not flush mount the vents, Lund? If this has happened to you and you have Lund, by all means buy them as a replacement. I think they are 5/8 too if you like stuff like that.

I have to give the product 5 stars, but only 1 star for the illustration. I did some preliminary research and was pretty sure I was buying what I needed which was the threaded insert and exhaust valve cap and not the entire exhaust valve as shown in the picture. ILLUSTRATION NEEDS CORRECTION. I'm sure some people were misled by the illustration into thinking they were buying all the ventilation. Revain, please fix this bug!

Item as described. I broke mine while parking in rough water and this replacement went smoothly. Replacing the broken part took less than 5 minutes. A little advice I have is that there is a good chance that the coating itself is broken. The cover screws into the part which in turn screws into the body of the vent. If only the cover broke off, you can most likely just remove the threaded stub and attach a new cover. Otherwise, replacing both parts with new ones will not be difficult.
