Boat Fuel Tank Siphon Valve

Siphon Valve Works Great! Easy installation, be careful when installing and don't overtighten the aluminum or it may break.

Ideal for below deck marine fuel tanks.

As you can see in the photo I needed to replace the fuel gauge on the lower deck PE tank in my 1720 Key West 1720. -Celebration.

Does the job - boating and sailing

Fits perfectly, the previous owner installed a simple 1/4" NPT X 3/8 hose fitting in place of the anti-siphon valve. I decided I didn't have the potential fire hazard wanted on my ship and went with what was supposed to be there.

Exact replacement of anti-siphon valve

Exact replacement of my boat's gas tank valve. Works perfectly like the original. Note that I replaced both the valve and the gas line with the outboard motor. I highly recommend replacing both after 10 years of use.

Failed quickly. in Sports

The valve failed within the first hour of operation, cutting off fuel to the engine. The primer ball installed 12 inches downstream of the antisiphon valve collapsed due to lack of fuel flow. We had to bypass the anti-siphon valve to restart the engine. Suggested alternative to this part: Use a regular fuel hose fitting instead and a filler bulb (which also has a check valve) next to the tank.
