Works well with quad

It was installed on our quad to be able to tow a dog trailer to take the dogs to the training area next to the kennel. Not used on main roads or at high speeds.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

I added this to the hitch that I bolted on.

I added this to a hitch that I have zero turn bolts on so I can use the receivers on my Reese hitch that is on my truck. Works perfectly. I didn't even have to buy a clutch ball, they are all on my receivers.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Use an extra lock washer

I've seen a lot of feedback that the receiver wants to rotate or move under some load rather than stay straight when I first installed it. I had the same problem, even with my 1/2 inch punch. The way I solved the problem wasn't to drill another hole or weld it. What I did was add a second lock washer (bolt, lock washer, washer, second lock washer, nut) and hit it again with my 1/2" punch and bam, it stays nice, straight and tight! Who knows if it lasts and how long but for now it's as tight as…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No mold required
