This item does not work with this machine on several levels. The height of the sphere does not allow it to be attached to my 5x10 universal trailer. The hitch latch cannot fully open due to a gap on the ATV, making it impossible to attach it to the ball. Also, I bought it hoping to use it with a Kolpin Trailer Dog (Lock-It Rite) trailer, but it doesn't fit either because it's too big for the dog's hitch to put the ball on. Fits perfectly and is solid but the design sucks. It has a couple of lock washers that should keep it from rocking from side to side. Mine couldn't stay in place the first time I used it. I will add 2 small tabs that will fix this big performance issue. It takes 10 minutes and costs next to nothing as I have a welder. Fur all ok. It lacks quality and workmanship. Works well for its intended purpose on an ATV or my Toro Workman. The pre-drilled adjustment holes weren't open enough to get the pin in and out of all the holes. It's not the end of the world, but reaming them slightly will remove the powder paint.
