Cannot adjust the tightness.

Good idea. My car doesn't have a windshield, so on the first drive at 20+ mph the incoming air actually moved the visor, went out of adjustment and no longer blocked the sun. I kept pushing it into place and kept moving until my speed dropped below 20 mph. I checked the adjustment and it was fully tightened. I think I can live with its limitations, but it costs more than $45.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doubtful

A little disappointed but will work.

At first I thought it was a set of 2. This is a single. Most UTVs have two seats, so sell them in pairs. The bracket is a bit short for my mounting plate. Most UTVs have exceptionally tall rooflines with a very tall top bar. If the mount was even 3 inches lower, this product would be perfect. I will install another hose under the original to fix this. I also wish the visor was a bit wider. You are very small.

Stable but too small.

Just installed two of these on Polaris. $$$$ is quite expensive and too small to block the sun. They only adjust slightly (not up or down). So if you're medium or small and you're on a high-roll quad, forget about trying to fit them. It would be great if they were a few inches longer and wider, not to mention a cheaper price. I'll try to update something to add them to make them work and mark it as a learning experience. Save money and look for another product that will get the job done.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not sure

not for Honda Pioneer 1000

The size of the visor seems too small to me. It needs to be lower so it blocks more sunlight in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun is at its lowest/brightest angle. Also, the Honda Pioneer 1000 requires the mounting bracket to be longer so that the visor does not touch the roof/windshield mounting brackets. I had to insert a 1/4" thick piece of rubber into the mounting bracket so the visor barely touches the roof/windshield mounts. If I didn't do that, the visor would make contact

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
