I got this for the bells and whistles. This increases base response and helps the songs that have no base. However, if the song has bass, it will not sound good. I increased it to 63Hz because I like the exact base. The expansion makes the sound more boomy. The SPL voltmeter is OK.

This is a great innovation. Clean, deep bass that I could never achieve with the amp and subwoofers I now have with this add-on. I added a Clarion EQ and upgraded the head unit to a Pioneer Deh 80 with Kappa series components, wow, the best audiophile sound I've ever heard.

After installing the Epicenter, the bass control stopped working. Of course, the bass control can be defective or caught on the cable. I LOVE the fact that it shows your power right on the dash! Product doesn't work, seems to have an internal problem, pressing the recovery switch makes a terrible noise, I'm afraid of blowing up my amp maybe even my subwoofer, unfortunately the warranty has expired and also the quality has dropped somewhere, the display is broken which is very disappointing as I bought it to show voltage and sound levels.

I bought this product purely for the SPL meter, but have found that the bass enhancement features add an extra boost to my current SPL setting. The mic is very accurate as my first race run was around 142.9dB and the meter on the epicenter read 143dB. Also, I removed my Arc Audio Line Converter/Sound Processor for this and Three.2. I would highly recommend any AudioControl product as it is designed and built to the highest quality.

I've always been a fan of tone controls since I had my first eqx series 2 that day, the epicenter wasn't new to me but I just pull it on didn't get the taste. When I bought the Standard I was a bit dissatisfied with the controls, and most importantly only some tracks will sound good, others will be rubbish. This thing really does provide a solid foundation! Click the "Restore" button and it will disconnect from listening to messages or other voice material. When it comes to just the voice it sounds robotic and unbearable but my 2 10 and 650 watts sound like 2 15 and 1000 watts! It's really adorable! is fine with me, I had to get the model in the dash because I can't imagine going back and forth in the trunk to rebuild or adjust the thing. The voltmeter shows the correct battery voltage but not the change in voltage as the alternator charges. The alternator charge is always about 10 volts higher than indicated. For example, at the epicenter it is 13.1, and on the multimeter, when the machine is running, it reads 14.1. I don't know if mine is defective or if it was installed incorrectly. My…
