I have a special needs son who sometimes has trouble with the controls of other DVD players, but the Spacekey DVD player has well thought out controls to open and operate the DVD tray. It's very durable at the moment and the screen is bigger than most for the money so it's great value for us!

The remote control doesn't work. Every other DVD asks for a parental password, but there is no way to enter it. If you then try the same movie again, it will turn on immediately. The picture is good. The device makes a humming charging noise until the film starts, then everything is quiet. Very strange. The instructions say you can change the batteries, but the device doesn't have a battery compartment.

The language accompanying the presentation was "0.5 hour rechargeable battery”. The quick start brochure in the charging section of the device states that a fully charged device can operate for 2 hours. I bought this item to use during dialysis treatments and 2 hours is too short. The rest of the product looks good and offers good picture and sound quality.

It took me a bit of digging and a few returns to finish my search for a useful portable DVD player to play old DVDs on the machines (treadmill/elliptical / ergometer). This fits the bill. The price is right and so far so good. If you need a simple portable DVD player to use in your car or at home, look no further. I did my homework for you. Much luck. ;)

I love this DVD player! You can watch it on the go and also connect it to your TV. This is a big plus when the kids are visiting family and don't have a DVD player but the kids want to watch the disc on the big screen. The swiveling screen is very good.
