They were polite in every way.

This item was not in stock and had no estimated delivery date. I only found out about this after making an inquiry due to misleading shipping information. I received a full and quick refund.

Pros

Cons
  • Suitable for

Good EQ, best among amps

I like this EQ because there is no amp noise and the EQ is accurate. Good that the input has a separate ground connection, which is necessary for connecting my Technics SL-1100A turntable. I've listened to more LPs since I bought these.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So far so good

Five Stars: Receiver and Amplifier

Beautiful. If you use it with a super cartridge like the Audio Technica AT 20 SLa and a good turntable like the Dual or Thorens with a high end processor like the Emotiva it will sound great. It all depends on what you have and most importantly on FINE TUNING ALL COMPONENTS.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

Cheap upgrade paired with an AT cartridge

The AT-PEQ3 is a high quality preamp with very low noise and solid build quality. Combined with the basic AT cartridge, this was a huge upgrade from the old Sony turntable. The retro gold look is particularly attractive in this context. The instructions are in Japanese, but an English version is available on the AT website.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • don't remember

A very good phono stage at consumer level.

This is a very good and useful phono stage for anyone who has a turntable but cannot connect it. I use it to connect my Technics 1200 to a recording console to play vinyl as the console has line inputs but no phono inputs. The sound is neutral and the output matches a line level signal well. It's not a high-end audiophile product, but it costs significantly more. If you're playing records for casual listening or need a way to transfer vinyl to another medium, this is a great product.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Only available in black
