These are my first pair of in-ear headphones and while I like Audio Technica as a brand (I've had several of their products and bought them to replace another pair of their headphones), I had problems with them. As far as comfort goes, they took a little getting used to. My more traditional hanging pads (also from AT) were more comfortable while tending to slip out more often. Im impressed with these headphones. I used to buy Audio Technica but they outperformed themselves on price. Pros: Really high quality construction. Sound reproduction is comparable to headphones in the $200 range (but much cheaper). A rigid, adjustable cable for in-ear use is a life-saving feature that I never would have thought of. A lot of reviews are pretty vague about the sound profile of these guys. Most people just said they "sound good" but pretty much everything on Amazon "sounds good". In short, this is pretty decent build quality. They feel very comfortable, nothing fancy, just shiny plastic! They feel great in the ears and to be honest they are one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned.
